6000-blog

Throughout the year there has been one standout dress that has been a total hit with so many of our brides; Jesus Peiro 6000. With a full structured skirt, crisp clean lines and flattering neckline the Miss Bush team have all agreed that this is a fabulous dress – and it even has the added bonus of pockets. Talk about perfection!

A quote from Jesus Peiro designer, Merche Segarra; “Style 6000 is a signature look for the Jesus Peiro brand. The bodice is tailored to emphasise the waist and shoulders. A statement bow adds interest and drama to a dress that is otherwise minimalist. Clean lines are complemented with a voluminous skirt with pockets for a relaxed feel. A plunging v and open back balance the high neckline. The dress is available in a choice of plain fabrics from structured mikado to soft Italian satin.”

Five of our Jesus Peiro 6000 brides shared their weddings with us on our blog this year, and you can read all about them below.

We have loved seeing and reading about how each bride has utilised the gown to fit with their own unique personal style, working perfectly with their beautiful, varied weddings, and hope that you will too!

Lisa – Contemporary London Black-Tie

“I didn’t tell Emma which particular Jesus Peiro dress I liked, but when I came into the Chapel, she picked exactly the same one I had in mind (although saved it to the end of all the dresses I tried on that day.)”

“I couldn’t understand why I was choosing that dress as it was halterneck and showed all of my arms, which I had wanted covered up. The Miss Bush team suggested that it was probably because the dress cut across my shoulders and round my neck, so therefore breaking up the profile of my square shoulders and skinny arms that I had wanted ‘sleeves’ to cover. This made sense to me, as I just felt so comfortable in the dress.

I loved the fact it had pockets, the moment I put my hands in them I just felt so relaxed and me!”

Stephanie – Pretty French Chateau Romance

“It was the third dress that I tried on at Miss Bush and I knew it was the one for me. I just loved the shape that it gave me, enhancing my figure and hiding my problem areas. Even when the sample dress in the store didn’t fit I still felt amazing but it was even better when I was trying on my own dress for the very first time.”

“My grandmother was really keen to see me walk down the aisle in a lace dress but when she saw me beaming when I had the gown on, I could tell from her face that she knew it was the one.”

“My favourite part of the dress shopping experience that I felt whilst at Miss Bush was that I was in a safe pair of honest hands. Emma reads people really easily and you can tell that she has years of experience that she knows what will work based on your shape and skin tone. Equally how can you not fall in love with the setting, the chapel couldn’t be any more appropriate.”

Sarah – Colourful and Relaxed Surrey Garden Party

“I brought my mum with me for the first look around, she walked in and saw it straight away. I thought I would go for a slim fitted dress with lots of sequins, but I’d always loved a halter neck. I tried plenty on that day, it’s amazing how many times you can get changed in an hour!”

“As soon as I put it on I knew, not in the cheesy way you see in the films, where I thought I would burst into tears, but I just felt totally comfortable, I could sit, I could dance, it gave me a waist that I don’t normally have. I LOVED it, when we left I couldn’t wait to get back and try it on again.”

“I wanted the dress to do the talking, so instead of a bouquet I went for an arm cuff of flowers, which was incredible, and put Rosie to the test as she said she hadn’t done anything like that before. I had my hair up and messy, with the back filled with flowers, as the back of the dress was simple, I wanted people to have things to look at whilst we were in the church.”

Zara – Glamorous French Chateau Chic

“Corinne suggested that I tried on the 6000 dress as I was up for trying all different styles and as I put it on and walked out in it – it was just – BOOM! I looked elegant, fresh, glamorous and I felt it showed off the best bits of my body! The dress stuck in my mind and my mums, it just did not compare to anything else I tried so it was a sure YES!”

“Miss Bush was definitely the best experience for finding the dress, I never felt rushed and I felt very assured than Corinne was all about finding what was exactly right for me – drawing out what my personality is like to find a good match. It was great to get I my dress for the first time when it had been made for me!”

“It took me a long time to decide on a veil as I wanted to find something that would not over power the dress, I had started by trying satin edged single tier cathedral length veils and it just felt wrong… My mum was browsing the internet like mad for inspiration of what might work – quite late on in the wedding process she saw a picture of a very fresh Pronovias veil – not too heavy and also nice and bright in whiteness – in the picture it was matched with a similar dress to mine – we went to Pronovias and tried it and it just felt like the icing on the cake! On the big day when it all came together I believe the effect was what I was going for!”

Lucy – Natural, Elegant South African Vineyard

“I brought my mother and my younger sister Sophie who was also my maid of honour. We had been to about 4-5 bridal shops before coming to Miss Bush and we had always found a dress that I could have worn but no other dresses had ever made us feel it was time to place a deposit. Having tried on endless lace dresses thinking that was what I was after, I came to Miss Bush with a totally open mind and asked Corinne to put me in anything.”

“It was actually Sophie who suggested I try on the Jesus Peiro 6000 dress-my initial reaction was negative as I felt a halterneck dress was the completely wrong shape for someone with larger breasts. How wrong I was!

I came out of the dressing room in my dress and my mother’s immediate response was “If you even think about trying anything else on, you are paying for it yourself! You will never find anything more beautiful than that dress!”Sophie was obsessed from the beginning too!”

“My favourite part of the dress shopping experience would have to be in that initial appointment when I realised I had found my dream dress and the reactions my mother and sister had to it. I feel at that point it truly began sinking in that I really was going to be a bride and marrying my best friend and soul mate.”
