On Thursday we were delighted to host the last leg in the Rewritten Bridesmaids Roadtrip. Rewritten is a brilliantly cool new bridesmaids brand offering totally stunning selection of stylish, contemporary dresses in a variety of colourways.

At Miss Bush we love a party, we love to host events at The Chapel and we love to introduce our brides to inspiring ideas throughout their wedding planning. When Emma took a call from Frances Hudson, one of the founders of Rewritten, a bridesmaids company with a difference, proposing a pop-up in The Chapel, we loved the idea.

Since moving to The Chapel there has been no room for a permanent bridesmaid collection. In addition it has been difficult to find a collection that met a bride’s budget whilst offering chic, effortless style, so a pop-up featuring cool designs at great prices is a fantastic way to inspire our brides and answer the question we hear daily “where do you suggest for bridesmaids?”

Rewritten was created in 2016 by friends Katie Arnott and Frances Hudson, who, frustrated by the choice of dresses for their own bridesmaids, decided to create their own.

The dresses are chic, sophisticated and take an entirely modern approach to bridal wear. The collection designed in London, creating contemporary designs in beautiful fabric and colour combinations.

Of course solving the dilemma of bridesmaids’ dresses should have been enough of a reason to book in but to add an additional element of fun to the day, we partnered with Cluck.

Cluck is the brainchild of Chloe Samantha and Emily who conceived and created a hen party company for cool women with great taste. They create hen parties that they would love to attend themselves. The site features an interactive online portal, which helps bridesmaids to be uber organised and removes the diplomatic headache of chasing payments as this can all be done via the website!

Cluck create hen parties that they would love to attend themselves and were available to chat with brides and their maids throughout the day over a glass of fizz and one of the delightful rainbow meringues procured from Meringue Girls.

We also persuaded Sharon Roberts to join us for the day. Sharon is an award winning wedding hairdresser, who gave hair trials and inspiration throughout the day.

Our brides and their squads had a fab time talking plaits, messy up do’s extensions and ‘how-to’ tips on flowers and veils, with beautiful flower crowns by Rosie Orr on hand for experimenting!
