As we come to the end of the year it’s time to look back on some of your favourite posts from the last 12 months. It’s been an exciting year for the blog, so thank you so much to all who have read and shared it, and an especially big thank you to whoever it was that nominated us for the UK Blog Awards!

There have been tons of gorgeous real weddings, controversial posts and lots of exciting buzz around the chapel launch, so without further ado and in reverse order, we share the posts that have had the most views and comments this year…

14 – Real Bride Hannah in Daphne by Jenny Packham

One of our most recent real brides to feature on the blog, Hannah’s dress was classic Jenny Packham, featuring soft layers of chiffon, delicate crystal detailing and the most dramatic of necklines. Hannah rocked this look and hope you will enjoy browsing these stunning images by Marshall Gray as much as we did!

13 – Real Bride Ellen in Jenny Packham Azalea

Ellen fell in love with Azalea within a few short hours, and we think that she made the perfect choice! The delicate lace, winged sleeves and soft draping neckline made for an elegant and pretty look.

12 – Real Bride Sam in Maggie Sottero Cosette

With a hint of Dior’s ‘New Look’ 1950’s style, Cosette was a much swooned over gown featuring black appliqué flowers, a tiny nipped in waist and a huge tulle skirt. Sam looked breathtaking in it and we applaud her for her brave and truly unique choice!

11 – Real Bride Joanna wearing Maggie Sottero Kyra

With a sleek A-Line shape and delicate lace overlay with 3D flowers, Kyra was the perfect choice for Joanna’s relaxed and pretty bridal look which was so fitting for this fun filled, happy day – the  bride and groom were accompanied down the street by a New Orleans style Jazz band! 10 – Going to the Chapel, The Film

A three and a half minute film that sums up perfectly just how brilliant our chapel launch event was! See more from our chapel launch at number 6 and number 1.

9 – Real Bride Jane wearing Nicole by Jenny Packham

A fun filled, family focused day, with beautiful redhead Jane wearing beautiful Nicole by Jenny Packham. With soft curls, an Art Deco inspired headband and the soft lines of Nicole, this look had a 1930’s feel about it that we just adored.

8 – Real Bride Sam wearing Nicole by Jenny Packham

It’s Nicole again – a very popular dress choice this year, this time chosen by the lovely Sam, who accessorised with a delicate headband and relaxing, wavy hair for a pretty, contemporary look.. One of many real weddings from a firm favourite with our brides, Guy Collier.

7 – Real Bride Xanthe wearing Tara Keely

Xanthe wore the most incredible customised JLM dress featuring a dramatic full tulle skirt with delicate lace overlay created by our in-house seamstress. If you’re looking for a look that is truly romantic and beautifully bridal you will love this stunning ensemble.

6 – Going to the Chapel – The Launch Event

A glamorous evening when we entertained some of the top names within the wedding industry to show off our brand new premises at The Old Chapel. The cocktails flowed, the frocks were fabulous and the company exquisite – a brilliant evening and the perfect way to christen our beautiful new boutique.

Emma discusses her distaste for sharing styled boudoir shoots on wedding blogs.

4 – Don’t Blame The Internet

Another controversial discussion post by Emma, discussing counterfeiting and market saturation within the bridal buying industry. You can also read the follow up here (which was our 6th most popular post!)

3 – Real Bride Charlene in Dentelle by Jenny Packham

The coolest, contemporary central London wedding, shot by super star photographer Emma Case. We loved Charlene in Dentelle, and the groom looked suitably dapper in his stylish purple suit!

A very honest and personal post from Miss Bush MD post. A real tearjerker.

1 – Going to the Chapel, The Finished Look

In March we moved to our new premises, The Old Chapel. Our most popular post this year showed off the new look – you all loved seeing the transformation and we are still swooning over it each and every day!
