We have such a stunning wedding to share with you today! Miss Bush bride Ali wore Jesus Peiro 6017 when she married her husband Ryan in July this year, which took place at St Nicolas Church in Hampshire, followed by a breathtakingly beautiful reception at her family home.

The Dress

Ali chose to wear Jesus Peiro 6017, a crisp, contemporary Cotton Pique wedding gown with a simple round neck and a romantic full structured skirt. The back of the gown features a huge statement bow, with flattering, elegant crossed over straps.

Ali tells us about shopping for her wedding dress;

“I went for Jesus Peiro 6017, it was stunning and as soon as I put it on I had the famous ‘when you know you know moment’. The bow detail at the back was a bonus and the overall look was simple, classic but still modern – exactly what I wanted.”

“My mum, my sister and one of my bridesmaid’s all happened to be there when I found the dress. I hadn’t really gone with any preconceived ideas that I would definitely find the one but when I put it on and exited the dressing room, my mum cried and she is not a crier!”

 “I loved the one on one element of the dress shopping experience, that you were the only person there and we had everyone’s undivided attention. Corinne also got to know me very quickly and by the end of the session, we’d found THE dress!”

Ali kept her look simple with soft loose curls accessorised with a Jenny Packham head-lace, and some simple diamond studs.

About the Day

Ali and Ryan’s day was a contemporary take on a country wedding. With luscious floral centerpieces and a stunning botanical ceiling installation the result is a refreshingly modern alternative to rustic country chic.

Ali tells us more;

“I had been to countless country weddings, all with a similarly wonderful feel but I felt that as we are both Londoners and quite a modern couple, I still wanted it to feel contemporary and part of us. Therefore, the theme was ‘a wedding in the country not a country wedding.'”

“I didn’t want the usual chalkboard signs or wooden memorabilia, adorning the tables. I wanted everything to be fresh, modern and contemporary whilst still being whimsical and beautiful.”

“I also wanted it to have a ‘show element’ so we added ‘sound blasts’ over any entrance that we made and anyone standing up to do a speech. For example: the father of the bride stood up to rapturous applause and ‘whatta man’ by Salt n Peppa. It worked really well and our guests were surprised but also loving the blast of music breaking up the speeches.”

“It’s hard to pin down a favourite part, but it was probably the car journey to the church with my dad and then seeing Ryan’s face.”

“I also LOVED walking in to the marquee after the photos and having all our friends and family cheering as we walked in to Public Enemy No 1’s instrumental of ‘Harder Than You Think’.”

Final Words

Some wedding planning advice from our bride, Ali;

“I think the most important piece of advice I can give, and it may sound super-boring but it will allow you to have the best day, is stick to your schedule. Print it out, hand it out to your ushers, bridesmaids etc.”

“You don’t need a wedding planner running your day if you’ve delegated well and everyone know what they’re doing, and have good MC to keep things moving along/keeping people informed etc.  On the day, everything ran like clockwork so we got to fully enjoy the day.”
